Jungle Fun
Well the first day of the Easter holidays is over and little Herriotts are tucked up fast asleep in bed exhausted. We've had great fun today running around Jungle Mania (childrens soft play place), and it seemed as though most of Isabella's nursery were there as well. I'm not quite sure who enjoyed it more the kids or me. Jumping in the coloured balls, which just come up to my knees, and sliding down slides - what fun, of course the only time you can do anything like this and get away with it, is if you are actually a child or have children of your own. Then enjoyed a very nice lunch at Pizza Organic, which I recommend, then home for a bit of down time before taking Isabella to gymnastics. Phew!

The things kids do!
Well we had an interesting evening last night - just as I was reading my 4 year old her bedtime story she decided to insert a bead from a braclet into her ear which then ended up with a trip down to our local A & E department to try and get it removed. However, as she had managed to well and truly push it in they couldn't get it out and we ended up having to go back this morning and see the ear, nose and throat doctor, who using a microscope managed to remove it - thank goodness!
It was Isabella's last day at nursery today, and I was glad that we managed to make it back from the hospital in time for her to join in with the Easter egg hunt and give her teachers flowers and cards. I can't believe that after Easter she will be going up to Reception - where have the last 4 1/2 years gone.
